Deuteronomy 10:12-22; Psalms 40, 54; Hebrews 4:11-16; John 3:22-36

God has no beginning and no end. His glory reigns from everlasting to everlasting. God is the truth. Jesus Christ is the reality. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that who so ever believeth in him may not perish, but have everlasting life.” (Jn. 3:16.) In God’s presence I have peace. All my cares and worries fade away. My spirit is strengthened and my faith renewed. Of all the places on earth no place is more satisfying and fulfilling than in the presence of the Lord God Almighty.

God is the light. In him there is no darkness at all. The Bible says his glory reigns from everlasting to everlasting. Imagine, the sun is but utter darkness compared to the glory of the Lord. His glory shines forth for all eternity. There is no limit to the glory of God. His glory will forever be magnified. Nothing less than an eternity would be sufficient for God’s glory being revealed.

God is holy. Holy means set apart. God is set apart in that he is the only one. There is none other like God. He alone is the all powerful creator of the universe. All his ways are holy.

God, we thank you for all that you are. Thank you for your grace and mercy. Let us see you as you are!
